St Mary's is a key supporter of Monty's Community Hub, a community development charity and a creative hub at the heart of the local neighbourhood (around Montague Avenue in north-east Sholing). Monty's hosts groups and activities for children, young people, families, older people and others, along with regular special events and holiday activities. It's home to Monty's Sunday Lunch Church, a 'fresh expression of church' meeting regularly to eat, pray, and explore the Christian faith. It's also home to Monty's Bike Hub, a social enterprise which recycles/resells second hand bikes, and offers bike repairs, training in cycle maintenance, cycling events and led rides.
